2025 silver Sovereigns have Benedetto Pistrucci's St George and the dragon design on the reverse with the date (2025) below. This engraving was created for the first milled Sovereigns, issued in 1817.

999 Silver Royal Mint Sovereign

These coins are struck in 7.98 grams of 999 fine silver and measure 22.05 millimetres in diameter. That means that they are the same size and weight as a standard gold Sovereign. The proof finish guarantees an attractive, premium appearance.

Limited Edition 2025 Proof Coin

The Royal Mint has confirmed that no more than 50,000 silver proof 2025 Sovereigns will be minted. Ours come in their original presentation packaging with a numbered certificate of authenticity enclosed, confirming that you have a genuine coin.
