Coin fairs bring together dealers and collectors, offering a chance to handle and view coins in person, compare prices across multiple sellers, and chat with experts about anything from ancient coinage to modern bullion. Whether you're a seasoned collector or simply curious to learn more, they're a great way to get hands-on with numismatics in a friendly, sociable setting.
Staff from The Britannia Coin Company regularly attend the Midland Coin Fair, the London Coin Fair, the Yorkshire Coin Fair, York Stamp & Coin Fair, Harrogate Coin Fair, COINEX, the World Money Fair (Berlin) and Numismata (Munich).
We do not bring all our stock to every fair. If there is a coin you have seen on our website that you would like to view in person, then please contact us to arrange an in-person viewing at an upcoming coin fair or our Wiltshire valuation centre.
2026 Update - We regularly attend a number of the UK's major coin fairs, although we're not currently able to commit to every event listed below. If you'd like to buy or sell coins with us in person, or drop coins off for grading, we're happy to arrange a meeting at one of the fairs below. Please contact us beforehand to arrange an appointment.
Held once a month on a Sunday at the National Motorcycle Museum, Solihull (opposite the NEC), the Midland Coin Fair is one of the UK's most regular and well-attended numismatic events, bringing together dealers from across the country.
Upcoming dates:
Held four times a year (February, June, September and November) at the Novotel London West in Hammersmith, the London Coin Fair is the largest international numismatic fair in the UK, with 75+ specialist dealers in coins, paper money, medals, tokens, books and antiquities.
COINEX is the British Numismatic Trade Association's flagship coin fair, held annually at the Biltmore Mayfair, bringing together leading UK and overseas dealers, auction houses, and collectors. As BNTA member dealers, we're proud to support this event and, as with our other fairs, are happy to arrange to meet and trade with you there by appointment.
Our team also regularly travels to major European numismatic fairs, including Numismata and the World Money Fair. As with our UK fairs, we don't keep a fixed exhibiting schedule at these events, but we attend fairly often and are always happy to arrange to meet collectors by appointment if you'll be there too.
