This guide sets out our dispatch, shipping and collection policies for UK and international customers making purchases via Different policies may apply to goods purchased through our eBay and Etsy stores.

Please note that orders placed through our website can only delivered to the billing address for the payment card. During checkout, your delivery address will be validated against the address registered with the card issuer. If this verification fails, your order may be referred to our accounts team for further checks.

How Much Does Delivery Cost?

Our prices are inclusive of free, insured delivery to UK addresses.

For international orders, we charge a flat £15 delivery fee, regardless of the value of your order.

When Will My Delivery Arrive?

We aim to dispatch orders within one to three working days of receiving payment. During busy periods it may take us a little longer to ship your coins. We cannot guarantee delivery by or on a specific date though we will do our best to fulfill specific requests.

If one of our coins cannot be dispatched within this window (e.g. coins sold on commission and pre-order items) this will be indicated on the product page, below the price.

Our Delivery Methods

The majority of our orders are sent via Royal Mail as we find their services more reliable than other couriers. We use different Royal Mail delivery methods based on the value of your order.

Orders Under £20 Sent via Royal Mail Tracked 48® - a tracked service with no signature required. Usually delivered within 2-3 working days.
Orders £20-£75 Sent via Royal Mail Signed For® - a service that requires a signature on receipt. Typically delivered within 1-3 working days of dispatch.
Orders Over £75 Sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm® - this next day, signed for service guarantees delivery before 1pm on weekdays.

High-value international orders may be shipped via other well-known courier services including UPS, Parcelforce and FedEx.

International Shipping

We deliver to all countries except for North Korea, Russia and Ukraine with all payments made in Pounds Sterling.

Insured international shipping is available for a flat £15 fee, taken at checkout.

Secure, Discrete Packaging

We use primarily recyclable and biodegradable shipping materials to package orders. Our boxes and padded envelopes are securely filled and sealed to ensure your coins will not rattle, open or sustain damage during transit. All orders are picked and packaged under closed-circuit cameras and weighed before dispatch.

Our packing materials and labels are all discrete and minimally branded with no indication of the contents to the casual observer. For customs purposes, we are required to declare the value and contents of your package on paperwork included with international orders.

Can I Collect My Order In-Store?

Please contact us before placing your order if you would like to collect from our Royal Wootton Bassett offices. We can hold most coins for collection by appointment.

We have a very limited range of coins available for immediate purchase in our showroom inside Old Bank Antiques and at our valuation centre. Please contact our team before your visit to ensure that the coin you are interested in is available. Most of our stock can not be produced at short notice.

Can I Get My Order Delivered To A Different Address?

Orders placed via our website can only be delivered to the billing address for the payment card and may be rejected if a non-matching delivery address is provided. If you need your order to be delivered to a different address then please contact our team.

Please get in touch as soon as possible if you have entered your address incorrectly.

What If I Am Not Available For Delivery?

If Royal Mail are unable to obtain a signature for your signed-for parcel they will leave an attempted delivery notification card. This allows you to collect from your nearest sorting office or organise a re-delivery at your convenience.

If you are away during the likely delivery window and would like your dispatch rescheduled please contact us as soon as possible.

Damaged And Missing Orders

If you suspect that your parcel has been tampered with, please refuse delivery and contact us immediately.

In the unlikely event that your product has been damaged during transit please report this issue by contacting us, quoting your order number, and make contact with the relevant courier, using the tracking number provided by email as a reference.

If your order has not arrived then it is worth contacting the courier in the first instance. If your package cannot be located then please contact us to report the issue.

Returns, Refunds and Exchanges
