This is the work of young artist Dan Thorne, who shows Briannia in half-length, dressed in classical garb and a helmet, holding her trident and a shield decorated with a roaring lion. It's an attractive and popular design, paired on these coins with Jody Clark's portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, used on Britannias for the final time. All six coins in this set are struck in solid 999 silver with a proof finish and are supplied inside individual capsules in the original presentation case.
