Buy a 2015 Buckingham Palace £100 Silver BU

This BUnc 2015 Buckingham Palace £100 silver coin is the second silver Hundred Pound coin to be issued by The Royal Mint, following on from the successful earlier release of the Big Ben £100 coin. The previous release sold out at the Mint in just eleven days! Continuing on in the theme of London landmarks, this UK coin depicts an engraving of the monarch's residence, Buckingham Palace. Queen Victoria was the first Sovereign to reside at the palace full time in 1837, however British royals had used the site since George III purchased the palace in 1761 from the Duke of Buckingham's illegitimate son. Like the previous £100 coin, Glyn Davies and Laura Clancy were jointly tasked with the reverse design, and they recreated the view of Thomas Brock's Victoria Memorial monument in the foreground with Buckingham Palace in the background. On the coin's obverse design, the new, fifth portrait of Queen Elizabeth II is present. It was one of the first coins to feature the new effigy and it was engraved by Jody Clark. Each coin is struck twice to a 'Brilliant Uncirculated' finish, which is the common standard for Royal Mint commemorative coins. It's issued in a limited edition presentation slipcase, contains just over two troy ounces of silver and measures 40.00 millimetres in diameter. A fantastic collectable coin, offered with free UK delivery from The Britannia Coin Company.
