1910 Florin Edward VII Silver Coin

Scarce date final King Edward VII UK silver Florin, struck at the Royal Mint in London as part of a calendar year mintage of 5,650,713.

Edward VII died on 6 May 1910 and was immediately succeeded by his son, who reigned as King George V. Despite this, British coins from 1910 were all minted in Edward's name, and it is his uncrowned portrait by George William de Saulles that appears on the obverse of these Florins.
