1909 UK silver Halfcrowns featuring an uncrowned effigy of King Edward VII and a crowned shield of arms reverse, both by George William de Saulles.

Edward VII's short reign began in 1901 following the passing of his mother, Queen Victoria. The Edwardian era was characterised by peace, prosperity, and significant technological and social changes. Edward's own death in 1910 brought his son, King George V, to the throne.
