1908 Florin Edward VII Silver Coin

Historic 1908 British silver Florin, struck in London at the Royal Mint as part of a calendar year mintage of 3,280,010.

These coins feature a reverse inscribed 'ONE FLORIN TWO SHILLINGS' with an image of Britannia standing at the prow of a ship, her trident and shield in hand. This design is the work of George William de Saulles, who also engraved the portrait of King Edward VII on the obverse.
