1903 Florin Edward VII Silver Coin

Key date 1903 UK silver Florin, struck during the short reign of King Edward VII with a portrait of the monarch by George William de Saulles.

These coins were minted in the year that the Wright brothers achieved the first successful powered flight and Henry Ford sold his first Model A. They feature a reverse, also by de Saulles, showing Britannia with her trident and shield and the prow of a ship, her cloak caught in the wind.
