These coins, all struck in solid 22-carat gold, all feature a proof finish and a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse, created by sculptor Ian Rank-Broadley. The reverses display the classic Saint George and the dragon motif, originally engraved by Benedetto Pistrucci for the first modern Sovereigns of 1817. Just 669 standard three-coin gold proof Sovereign sets were released in 2014 out of a presentation of 750. This pre-owned example is supplied in the original case with a numbered certificate.
