Buy a 2013-I Sovereign

Add the very first modern India-minted Sovereign to your collection with this 2013 gold bullion coin. Struck in partnership between The Royal Mint and MMTC-PAMP, this landmark edition recalls the short-lived run of Sovereigns issued in Bombay (now Mumbai) in 1918. Each 2013 Sovereign follows the long-established specification of 7.98 grams of 22-carat gold but carries a unique 'I' mintmark on the ground above the date, echoing the historic Indian issues. Finished to a bullion uncirculated standard and sealed in its official red plastic presentation card, this inaugural issue is part of a substantial but finite mintage of 94,790 coins.
