Certificate of authenticity #1! Five ounce 999 gold Royal Mint coin, struck in 2013 to celebrate sixty years since the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. It's part of a collection issued by the UK's national mint to commemorate this remarkable anniversary. The obverse of this stunning collector's piece shows Ian Rank-Broadley's definitive coin portrait of Her Majesty, the fourth such effigy used on The Queen's coinage. The reverse features an exclusive design with an interior view down the nave of Westminster Abbey. Coronation regalia, including the Sovereign's Orb and Sceptre, lie in the foreground. this design is the work of artist Jonathan Olliffe who is also known for his 2023 Britannia engraving. Queen Elizabeth II was crowned at Westminster Abbey on the 2nd June, 1953. She had acceded to the British throne on the death of her father, King George VI, the previous year. The ancient ceremony was the first in Britain to be fully televised and was watched by an estimated 277 million around the world. This premium pre-owned 24-carat gold £10 coin comes in its original packaging, consisting of a gold-coloured card box and a glossy display case, the COA number in gold to the pop-up coin holder.
