This five-coin Royal Mint set presents collectors with the definitive UK £1 issues of 2003 to 2007. This includes the 2003 Royal Arms £1 and the ever-popular UK Bridges set, designed by Edwina Ellis and released over the consecutive mintage years of 2004 to 2007. Each of these British coins is struck in .925 silver and also enjoys a proof finish from The Royal Mint. The individual issue limit of each ranges from 15,000 to 25,000 - making each a scarce issue - and this all-in-one set is even more limited. This set includes one definitive £1 from the five mintage years, making it a pre-owned presentation of particular collectability. The included display packaging arranges the UK Bridge set in the corners, with the heraldic Royal Arms piece encapsulated centrally.

UK 2003 - 2007 £1 Collection

The set includes all four entries in the United Kingdom Bridges run of definitive £1 coins, as well as the Royal Arms definitive that preceded them. Edwina Ellis designed the bridge-themed coins, while the 2003-dated entry is the classic work of Eric Sewell. Here is a list of the coins:

Definitive UK £1 Of 2003-07 Set

The interconnected series of £1 coins from 2004 - 2007 here represents the UK's constituent nations, each featuring a famous bridge. Edwina Ellis' designs were selected by The Royal Mint Advisory Committee to be the definitive issues. Beginning with the 2004 Forth Bridge coin, they replaced the Royal Arms £1 of 2003, bearing an iconic design by Eric Sewell.

Silver Proof UK £1 Collection

These One Pound coins were struck from 2003 to 2007, each weighing 9.50 grams of silver. Their 92.5% purity is thanks to the use of sterling alloy in their composition. The Royal Mint struck each to proof quality, making them intended for UK coin collectors.

Pre-Owned Bridges Coin Set

A variance in issue limits applies to these coins, which each feature a £1 design from the early 2000s. The 2003 and 2004 coins are part of a mintage of 25,000 each, while the 2005 coin has an issue limit of 15,000. The remaining two are one of 20,000 struck. This pre-owned set is therefore a selection of limited-issue British coins and a great way to obtain the definitive designs in a collectable silver presentation. The blue velvet-style display case is included with your 2003-2007 £1 set, along with the individual certificates.
