Round 2016 £1 BU coin from The Royal Mint, one of the last examples of a 'round pound'. This One Pound coin marks the end of an era for UK coinage. In 2016, the UK moved to a new 12-sided version, making this brilliant uncirculated coin one of the last of its kind. Gregory Cameron includes each of the 'Royal Beasts' of the UK's four nations on the reverse, defending a symbolic crown at the centre. Jody Clark's definitive, and final, portrait of Elizabeth II is to the obverse, and this is one of the final round pounds to feature Her Majesty. The Royal Mint struck this era-defining UK coin in nickel-brass alloy to a deserving BU quality. Pre-owned, the coin weighs 9.50 grams and has a diameter of 22.50 millimetres. No longer able to be purchased from the Mint, your pre-owned coin arrives in the original protective packaging.
