2000 Una And The Lion Five Pound Gold Plated Silver Coin Set

Two-coin Una and the Lion and Queen Victoria Young Head gold-plated silver replicas set with official Millennium 2000 hallmark.

The Royal Mint's Chief Engraver, William Wyon, originally created his Una and the Lion design for a gold Five Pound coin, struck in 1839. These replicas feature both the literary reverse and Wyon's much-admired Young Head portrait of Queen Victoria, shown on the obverse.

• These replicas are both hallmarked London and feature the special 'Millennium 2000' mark
• Both coins are struck in 31.1 grams of 24-carat gold-plated 999 fine silver, each labelled 'COPY'
• 2,500 such sets were issued, supplied in a presentation case with a certificate of authenticity
