Collectable 2023 silver proof 6-coin Britannia set from The Royal Mint, including 1oz, 1/2oz, 1/4oz, 1/10oz, 1/20oz and 1/40oz coins.
The coins in this set are all struck in solid 999 fine silver with a premium proof finish and feature Jonathan Olliffe's reverse, exclusive to 2023 proof Britannias. This year's Britannia design shows the goddess driving a chariot pulled by two rearing seahorses with webbed feet and scaly tails.

This silver Britannia set from The Royal Mint contains six 2023 proof coins.
Designer Jonathan Olliffe created the reverse used on 2023 proof Britannias, which shows Britannia with her trident in a chariot pulled by two seahorses with the date below and 'BRITANNIA', the weight, and '999 FINE SILVER' around.
2023 Britannias were some of the first coins to feature a portrait of King Charles III on the obverse, following his accession in 2022. The coins in this set show Martin Jennings' effigy along with the date and denomination.
Since 2012, silver Britannias have been minted with a fineness of 999 rather than the 958 silver used for earlier coins. In total, this set offers 60.25 grams of pure precious metal, which is just under two troy ounces.
The Royal Mint only authorised the release of 950 of these silver proof six-coin Britannia sets in 2023. Our pre-owned examples are supplied in the original presentation case with a numbered certificate of authenticity enclosed.
