Buy a 2015 Battle of Agincourt £5 Silver Proof

The 2015 600th Anniversary of The Battle of Agincourt Alderney £5, struck in silver to proof standard. A key event in the Hundred Years' War, the Battle of Agincourt is known to history as one of England's most impressive battles. Marking six centuries since Henry V's outnumbered archers shot into the history books, this silver £5 features a special reverse design by Glyn Davies. The sculpture transports the viewer into an archer's-eye-view during the battle, as a rain of sharpened English wood fell upon the bunched French men-at-arms. On the obverse side of this 28.28 gram sterling silver coin sits the definitive profile of Elizabeth II, designed by Ian Rank-Broadley. The Alderney Agincourt £5 edition offered here is complete with the capsule, display case and outer box. The authenticity certificate and chunky illustrated booklet are also included with this presentation, one with an issue limit of only 1,500. This unique-to-2015 coin celebrating English military history is no longer available to purchase new, and our pre-owned example is the ideal way to obtain this coin for your collection.
