Scarce and unusual Britannia set featuring five 2006-dated silver proof Britannias struck with selective gold-plated detail.
The 'Golden Silhouette' set features five different Britannia designs, all created by Philip Nathan and previously used on silver Britannias. This includes the classic standing Britannia, which inaugurated the series, plus 1999's charioteer Britannia, 2001's Britannia and lion, 2003's helmeted bust, and 2005's seated Britannia.

Philip Nathan FRSS is a British sculptor and coin designer best known for creating several depictions of Britannia used on coins in The Royal Mint's flagship Britannia series, including the classic standing Britannia reverse.
