1999 Millennium Five Pound Britannia One Ounce Silver Coin Set

Collectors set from 1999, featuring two UK coins: a cupronickel 1999 Millennium £5 and a 1999 1oz silver Britannia, both made by The Royal Mint.

The Millennium Crown was designed by Jeffrey Matthews and shows a clock face, the hands set between 1999 and 2000, crossing a map of the British Isles along the Prime Meridian. The 1999 1oz Britannia features Philip Nathan's Boudicca design, and is struck in .958 'Britannia' silver.
