1903 Threepence Edward VII Silver Coin

Collectable 1903 UK silver Threepence, struck the same year the Wright brothers achieved the first successful powered aeroplane flight.

These small .925 sterling silver coins were issued for circulation by the Royal Mint during the early years of the Edwardian period. On the obverse is the uncrowned portrait of King Edward VII by George William de Saulles, while the reverse displays the traditional crowned three design.
