Collectable 1893 silver Threepence, struck late in the reign of Queen Victoria and featuring the final portrait of the monarch used on her coinage.
Struck in .925 sterling silver, these currency coins feature the classic crowned '3' reverse by Jean Baptiste Merlen, paired with Sir Thomas Brock's newly introduced Old Head effigy of Queen Victoria, also known as the Veiled Head. 1893 was the first year this portrait was used.
