1890 Threepence Victoria Silver Coin

Collectable silver Threepence struck in 1890 and featuring the classic crowned three and wreath reverse used on these coins for decades.

This design is attributed to Jean Baptiste Merlen and was used on British coins from the reign of King George IV. It's paired on these 1890-dated coins with Joseph Edgar Boehm's Jubilee Head portrait of Queen Victoria, which shows the Queen crowned and wearing a long lace veil.
