The alloy of the £1 coin is Nickel-Brass (70% copper, 5.5% nickel, 24.5% zinc), the 50p, 20p, 10p and 5p coins are Cupro-Nickel (75% copper, 25% nickel) and the 2p and 1p coins alloy is Bronze (97% copper, 2.5% zinc, and 0.5% tin). The obverse of each coin features the 3rd Portrait of Her Majesty the Queen, Elizabeth II, by Raphael Maklouf, FRSA. These uncirculated coins are issued annually to commemorate the coins in that year and are intended to be souvenirs.
