These 1937 coins feature the uncrowned, left-facing coinage portrait of George VI by Humphrey Paget. This is paired with a newly introduced reverse by George Kruger Gray, which shows a shield over a Tudor rose. Struck in .500 (50%) silver, these 3d coins weigh just 1.4 grams.
