1935 Halfcrown George V Silver Coin

1935 UK silver Halfcrowns featuring a portrait of King George V by Bertram Mackennal and a shield of arms reverse by George Kruger Gray.

1935 was the year of George V's Silver Jubilee, marking 25 years since his accession to the throne. The Jubilee was marked with events throughout London and the rest of the United Kingdom in May and by the issue of a new Crown coin, known as the Rocking Horse Crown.
