Buy a 1910 Halfcrown

1910 UK silver Halfcrowns: the final Halfcrown issued during the short reign of King Edward VII, who died on 9 May in this year.

Like all Edward VII Halfcrowns, this 1910 coin features a reverse engraved by George William de Saulles, which shows a crowned shield of royal arms surrounded by a garter. This is paired with a portrait of the King on the obverse, uncrowned and facing right, also by De Saulles.

  • The Royal Mint struck some 2,557,685 of these .925 sterling silver coins in London in 1910
  • These Halfcrowns were minted for circulation and are a key addition to any Edward VII date run
