Victorian Halfcrowns from the year 1900, featuring the Old or Veiled Head effigy of Queen Victoria by English sculptor Sir Thomas Brock.

1900 was a high mintage year for UK Halfcrowns, with 4,479,128 of these .925 sterling silver coins struck by the UK's national mint. These coins feature a detailed, decorative reverse design, also created by Brock, depicting a flat-topped shield of royal arms atop a collar.
