1894 Halfcrown Victoria Silver Coin

Historic 1894 British silver Halfcrowns featuring the Old or Veiled Head portrait of Queen Victoria by Sir Thomas Brock.

Thomas Brock also designed the crowned shield of arms seen on the reverse of 1894 Halfcrowns. These coins were struck in the year that the Local Government Act granted UK women the right to vote and stand in local elections, and William Gladstone resigned as Prime Minister.
