1891 UK silver Florin from a low calendar year mintage of just 836,438: the second scarcest issue of the Jubilee Head Florin series.
These coins feature a controversial and short-lived veiled portrait of Queen Victoria on the obverse by Joseph Edgar Boehm. The reverse displays crowned cruciform shields with sceptres in the angles and a garter star in the centre - a design attributed to Leonard Charles Wyon.
