The reverse shows a central garter star and four crowned shields of armed, arranged cruciform with interlinked ‘C’s in the angles. The date - 1673 - is divided by the top-most crown and the legend, similarly divided, reads: MAG · | BR · FRA · | ET · HIB | REX ·’. The edge identifies the regnal year of ‘VICESIMO QVINTO’.
