1937 George VI Coronation large silver medal, designed by Percy Metcalfe, struck at the Royal Mint as an official souvenir.

These official medals feature a crowned portrait of King George VI in his coronation robes on the obverse, inscribed 'GEORGE VI CROWNED 19 MAY 1937'. The reverse shows Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother, with 'QUEEN ELIZABETH 12 MAY 1937' around.
