A collectable hammered silver sixpence of Queen Elizabeth the First with the mint mark of ‘A’ both sides indicating struck at the London mint between the years 1582 and 1584 of the 6th coin issue. The obverse features the crowned bust of the queen facing left with the Tudor rose behind, and the reverse shows the cross through shield of arms representing England and France.
