A collectable hammered silver Shilling of Queen Elizabeth the First with the mint mark of ‘Cross-crosslet’ indicating struck in the year 1560 or 1561 at the tower mint in London.The obverse features the crowned bust type 3c of the queen facing left of the 2nd issue coinage. The reverse shows the long cross fourchee through shield of arms. This second issue coinage has only two mint marks and four different types of bust.
