A rare gold one quarter Pahlavi from Iran with the date in the Solar Hijri calendar of SH1333 which converted into the Gregorian calendar is 1954. Struck in a low mintage of only 7,000. Portrait of Mohammad Reza Shah and date to the obverse, the reverse featuring a crown above a lion holding a sword within a wreath: the standard emblem of Iran. Pahlavi were the official gold coins of Iran from 1926 to 1979.
