A collectable gold Saudi Arabia Trade Guinea, dated 1950 or AH1370 in the Islamic calendar. The reverse inscription translates as 'one Saudi Arabian Pound struck at the Holy city of Mecca’. These rather attractive gold coins with calligraphic designs were issued in high numbers as a trading bullion coin to compare with the weight and fineness to the English full Sovereign.
