This enduring effigy, originally engraved by William Wyon, depicts a youthful, uncrowned Victoria. The bust is paired with the classic crowned and quartered shield reverse, attributed to Jean Baptiste Merlen, with an inscription that reads 'BRITANNIARUM REGINA FID: DEF:'.
