Buy a 2015 Churchill Set

Official two-coin collectable set celebrating Sir Winston Churchill from the UK's national mint. This boxed set contains a 1965 Churchill Crown coin, struck by The Royal Mint to mark the great statesman's death. These cupronickel Crowns were some of the first UK commemorative coins ever issued and the first to feature a portrait of a non-royal. Mary Gillick's first definitive coin portrait of Queen Elizabeth II is shown on the obverse. The historic coin is in good condition and sealed in a presentation capsule. It's accompanied by a new, brilliant uncirculated 2015 coin, created by the Mint to mark 50 years since Churchill's death. These £5 coins feature a close up portrait of Churchill by sculptor Mark Richards, paired with Ian Rank-Broadley's portrait of Her Majesty the Queen. The high-quality brilliant uncirculated finish means you can appreciate these designs as the artists intended. Just 5,000 of these special two-coin sets have been issued by The Royal Mint. Ours are offered in their original card box with a certificate of authenticity and an informative booklet, packed with information on Churchill's life and legacy.
