Special £2 Coins In 2007 Set
The first of two commemorative £2 coins, in a reverse designed by Yvonne Holton, marks 300 years since Scotland and England were joined under one Parliament through the Act of Union. Edge inscription: 'UNITED INTO ONE KINGDOM'. Secondly, David Gentleman's reverse design is symbolic of the profound outcome of the 1907 Abolition of the Slave Trade Act. Edge inscription reads: 'AM I NOT A MAN AND A BROTHER'.
