2017 Nations Of The Crown One Pound Circulated Coin

Nations of the Crown 2017 UK One Pound coin, featuring a rose, leek, thistle and shamrock bound by a crown on the reverse.

This design, created by David Pearce, was introduced on 2016-dated £1 coins to inaugurate the new 12-sided format for this denomination. Bi-metallic coins were introduced in response to widespread counterfeiting.
