2013 Royal Arms Shield One Pound Circulated Coin

Royal Shield 2013 circulated UK One Pound coin, featuring a classic Shield of Royal Arms motif on the reverse, designed by Matthew Dent.

In 2013, The Royal Mint released three different £1 designs into circulation: this definitive Royal Shield coin, alongside two Floral Emblems coins: the 2013 England £1 and the 2013 Wales £1. All three feature Ian Rank-Broadley's portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse.
