England - Floral Emblems 2013 circulated UK One Pound coin with a reverse design featuring a rose and an oak branch with an acorn.

This motif was designed by heraldic artist Timothy Noad to represent England as part of the Floral Emblems £1 series. Noad also designed the 2013 Wales £1, the 2014 Scotland £1 and the 2014 Northern Ireland £1, all featuring national flowers.

  • 5,270,000 of these round, nickel-brass One Pound coins were issued by The Royal Mint in 2013
  • The edge of Rose and Oak coins reads 'DECUS ET TUTAMEN' ('An ornament and a safeguard')
  • These Queen Elizabeth II coins were struck for circulation, but were withdrawn in 2017
