Buy a 2024 Year Of The Dragon £5 BU (Pack)

The 2024 Year of the Dragon BU Crown from The Royal Mint's Lunar Shēngxiào Collection. The dragon is a mystical member of the Chinese Zodiac animals and is a beast synonymous with Chinese culture, making common appearances in fables and folklore. 2024 was, of course, the dragon's year in the forefront - making it a special one for many. Reverse designer William Webb depicts a coiled dragon with claws on display and mouth open. Meanwhile, on the obverse side of this Lunar Shēngxiào £5 is Charles III as designed by Martin Jennings. This UK Crown is struck in 28.28 grams of cupronickel, with a diameter of 38.61 millimetres. The Royal Mint's brilliant uncirculated finish also adds a fantastical sparkle to the dragon depiction. This pre-owned coin is no longer available from the Mint, and comes in the original folder with fascinating insights. Also included is the traditional red envelope, which makes this British coin ideal for gifting.
