Royal Mint Five Pound Crown celebrating the James Bond films of the 1970s. This incredible decade for the character included classic entries such as 'Live and Let Die' and 'Diamonds are Forever'. The world also enjoyed the handing of the baton from Connery to Roger Moore, and the evolution of the character that followed. Central on the reverse side, designed by Bison Bison, is 'Wet Nellie' - the Lotus Esprit turned submarine introduced in 'The Spy Who Loved Me'. The 70s 007 £5 is struck in 28.28 grams of cupronickel alloy and is finished with the definitive effigy of Charles III on the obverse side. The Six Decades of of 007 series is an incredibly popular release and is no longer available directly from The Royal Mint. This brilliant uncirculated edition, which includes the commemorative booklet, is therefore pre-owned.

The 1970's edition in the Six Decades of 007 collection features a Lotus Esprit on the reverse, driven in 'The Spy Who Loved Me'. The legendary vehicle is placed alongside the titles of James Bond films of the decade, and surrounded by the customary gun barrel pattern than has framed the spy since the 1960s.

This is a brilliant uncirculated Bond Films of the 70s UK Crown. The Royal Mint struck this collectable James Bond British coin in 28.28 grams of cupronickel alloy and to a diameter of 38.61 millimetres.
