This coloured Remembrance coin from The Royal Mint was released in 2014, a centenary year for World War I. The poignant coin offered here is an Alderney-issue piece which takes its design inspiration from Lawrence Binyon's 'For The Fallen'. The reverse colouring, which adorns the poppies with a deep red, completes the collectable specification granted to this brilliant uncirculated coin. It is struck in cupronickel with a denomination value of Five Pounds and includes the commemorative presentation folder, which recounts 'For The Fallen' and marks the WW1 centenary year.

This WW1 Centenary £5 coin takes inspiration from the famous poem 'For The Fallen' by Laurence Binyon. It shows a series of richly coloured poppy heads gently falling, with the outer inscription 'REMEMBER THE FALLEN'. The design is by Laura Clancy.

A BU WW1 Centenary £5

This 2014 Remembrance Day Crown is a brilliant uncirculated, coloured edition. It is composed with 28.28 grams of cupronickel alloy and has a legal tender face value of Five Pounds. The issuing authority is Alderney.

Includes 'For The Fallen' Coin Presentation

The profoundly simple, yet reflective, presentation folder is included with your 2014 Remembrance Day coin. The coloured coin's reverse is presented as a continuation of the poppies that fall across the outer sleeve's face. This is a pre-owned example, as the WW1 Centenary release is no longer struck for public offering.
