Italian-American sculptor Anthony de Francisci designed the portrait of Lady Liberty wearing a radiate crown on the obverse of Peace Dollars, modelling the profile after his wife. The word 'LIBERTY' appears above, with the date below and '· IN · GOD · WE TRVST ·' on either side of the bust.
Eagle Silver Peace Dollar Reverse
On the reverse of silver Peace Dollars, an eagle is shown with an olive branch clasped in its talons and sun rays behind. The word 'PEACE' appears below, with 'ONE DOLLAR' on either side and 'UNITED · STATES · OF · AMERICA E · PLURIBUS UNUM' above.

Peace Dollar Mints And Mintages
Peace Dollars were minted at United States Mint branches in San Francisco (S), Denver (D) and Philadelphia (no mintmark). While Peace Dollars were struck in Philadelphia every year between 1921 and 1928, then again in 1934-1935, other mints did not strike Peace Dollars in some years.
