Iconic United States Morgan Dollars, ready to add to your silver stack: mixed-date American coins available for low premiums.
These United States Dollar coins were minted from 1878 to 1904 and again in 1901. Morgan dollars take their name from their designer, George T Morgan, who created the instantly recognisable portrait of Liberty on the obverse and the eagle on the reverse.

Silver Morgan Dollars were carried in the pockets of pioneers, cowboys and gold miners. While some key dates are worth thousands, many are available at affordable prices, allowing collectors to own a piece of history.
These popular American coins feature a portrait of Lady Liberty by British-born engraver George T Morgan, who became Chief Engraver to the United States Mint. The left-facing portrait was modelled by Anna Willess Williams.
Morgan also designed the reverse of Morgan Dollars, which shows an eagle with its wings raised, clutching an olive branch and arrows in its talons. Mint marks are shown just below the wreath that encircles the eagle.
Morgan Dollars are made from 26.73 grams of .900 (90%) silver: that's 0.7734 troy ounces of pure silver. These coins were struck at several mints, including Philadelphia, Carson City, Denver, New Orleans and San Francisco.
