50-piece 1000 Years of British Monarchy 973-1973 sterling silver ingot set. This popular collectors piece was made by John Pinches Medallists, a British firm with a long history dating back to 1840 and a reputation for producing collectable coins, medals and ingots. This large, limited edition set celebrates the history of the British monarchy with 66 gram sterling silver bars, dedicated to each King or Queen, starting with Edgar, who was crowned in the year 973. One side of these ingots features a portrait of the monarch and an important scene from their reign, with the reverse inscribed with their regnal name and dates. Each piece is hallmarked to the edge. The includes every English and later British monarch through to Queen Elizabeth II who came to the throne in 1952. The ingots come in a large, premium wooden box, along with a numbered certificate of authenticity.

British Monarchy Ingots Set Packaging

These sets were originally issued with a handwritten certificate addressed to the purchaser. A removable clear sheet protects the ingots, which are presented in a large fitted wooden box, the lid of which is inscribed with the set's name and the edition number.
