2013 30th Anniversary One Pound Silver Proof Coin Set

Three-coin silver proof One Pound set, released by The Royal Mint to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the first UK £1 coins.

The coins in this set feature three distinctive designs used on the One Pound series, including Eric Sewell's classic royal arms design, introduced in 1983, the crowned shield of arms designed by Derek Gorringe for the 1988 £1 and Matthew Dent's definitive shield reverse.

• These round Pound coins are struck in 9.50 grams of solid .925 sterling silver with a proof finish
• All dated 2013 with Ian Rank-Broadley portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on the reverse
• Boxed set from a limited edition of 3,500 (publications report that just 1,311 were issued)
