2009 Angel Of The North Five Pound Silver Proof Boxed Olympics Coin

Individually boxed silver proof 2009 Angel of the North Five Pound coin from The Royal Mint's Celebration of Britain (Mind of Britain) collection.

Designed by Antony Gormley, the Angel of the North is a 20-meter-tall steel sculpture, located in Gateshead near the A1. Shane Greeves designed this depiction of the iconic sculpture, accompanied by a quote from Shakespeare: 'I have touched the highest point of my greatness'.

• Obverse features Ian Rank-Broadley's portrait of Queen Elizabeth II and denomination (£5)
• Struck in solid .925 sterling silver with a proof finish and London 2012 Olympics logo in colour printing
• From a limited mintage of 24,700 coins total - boxed issues are notably scarce and hard to find
