2007 Britannia Half Ounce Silver Proof Coin Set

Sought-after silver proof 2007 Britannia set from The Royal Mint featuring six half-ounce coins, all struck with a satin finish to the reverse.

2007 marked the 20th Anniversary of the first gold Britannias, issued in 1987. To celebrate, The Royal Mint issued these one-off sets featuring One Pound coins, each displaying one of the six designs created by artist Philip Nathan for the silver Britannia series over the previous decade.

• Each of these 2007 1/2oz Britannias is struck in 16.33 grams of solid .958 'Britannia' silver
• The reverse displays a satin finish, while the obverse shows a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II
• These 2007 1/2oz proof coins were only available in these sets, of which just 2,000 were issued
